Review:
Let me just point out that this movie was amazing and so much better than the first one. Its hard for movies to 100% impress me. I don't walk away fully satisfied and sometimes I walk away thinking that it was a waste of money. Seeing this movie for the first time I was watching it from a Christian perspective which I really don't do. For those of you that don't know, J. R. R. Tolkien was a Christian if don't believe me look him up on Wikipedia or something. Anyway, its was basically the battle between good and evil. The most powerful scene was when Gandalf and The Necromancer/ Sauron were fighting each other and it reminded me of how our spirit is constantly battling for us to do the right, godly thing or the wrong, wicked thing. The main thing I was looking forward to is seeing the dragon which was voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch. I'm really happy that Peter Jackson didn't allow Smaug to speak a different language because I certainly did not want to sit there and read subtitles for the whole time they showed him. But, in the end it struck what Smaug said at the end of the movie especially when he said, "I am death", which reminded me that the devil is exactly.
"Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same suffering are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world"

For all those who haven't seen it yet, I strongly encourage you to see it while it still theaters and for those of you that want to wait for it to come out on DVD/Blueray don't!

Once Upon A Time Review

About: Fairy tales characters lives are changed when The Evil Queen (from Snow White) places a curse on the land and carries them into the real world where they all lose their memory expect her and Rumplestiltskin and magic doesn't exist.
If you haven't seen Once Upon A Time before then you should watch it on ABC Sunday nights at 7. Why must you ask? Not only is it one of my favorite TV shows to watch, but because its one of those shows that have a strange (in a good way) twist to it. If you don't recognize these creators then you've probably remember or have seen TV's popular show LOST (6 seasons, 2004-2010). Both of these shows are sort of the same because in the first seasons of LOST we see the characters past which we also see in Once Upon A Time. Once Upon A Time is in the middle of its third season and we haven't seen any future scenes yet but it feels like there's too many stories that haven't revealed to the audiences yet such as Captain Hook, Emma Swan, Baelfire/Neal, etc. Which is probably they've created a spin-off called Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, but that a whole another story. Even though the show is in its third season, audiences are still learning about the characters we've seen since season one.
I want to talk about what's going on in the third season of Once Upon A Time. Where we see in the finale of the second season the main characters are heading to Neverland to rescue Henry after he was kidnapped and taken there. In the first few episodes, the main characters are wondering around in Neverland searching for Henry and figuring out how to get off and return home while Peter Pan, who we know in stories he's good but in fact evil in the show, has his own plan. In the latest episode, we see the main characters and The Lost Boys finally return home on the Jolly Roger with Henry, but Henry and Peter Pan switch bodies. How and why? Well, you must watch it and find out.
